The wife of a sacked teacher who allegedly attacked his daughter has told a tribunal that both were bleeding after fighting.
Geta Aldridge said that he had not punched or kicked his daughter, according to a report from BBC Online.
She said: "Both of them sustained cuts. I gave them toilet paper to mop up the cuts on their faces."
Mr Aldridge was sacked from his position as Olchfa Comprehensive school after his daughter told friends of an alleged row and is now claiming unfair dismissal.
He was also arrested by police following an investigation but no charges were brought.
Although the investigation uncovered evidence of bruises and cuts, Mr Aldridge claimed that it was conducted in a flawed manner
Meanwhile, his wife also alleges that his daughter picked up the injuries playing sports and had been hurt in a car crash that happened two weeks before the incident.
