Dave Lee Travis (real name David Patrick Griffin) has today been charged with two further counts of indecent assault. Travis was charged earlier this year with 11 counts of indecent assault and 1 count of sexual assault.
The new allegations relate to an alleged assault between January 1992 and December 1993 and involve a woman over the age of 16. Travis is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday 3rd October 2013 in relation to these additional charges. He has indicated that he will plead not guilty to the first 12 charges and a trial date has been set for 4th March 2014 and is expected to last 4-5 weeks.
