Sarah Jones Senior Associate, Clinical & Medical Negligence
Sarah is a medical negligence lawyer and a member of the human rights team at Slater and Gordon in Manchester.
Although based in Manchester, she has clients all over the UK.
Sarah represents children, adults and families in legal investigations and civil compensation claims arising from death or serious injury.
Her legal practice includes the full range of clinical negligence work including birth injury and cases of maximum severity, including cerebral palsy, spinal injuries, amputations, delay in diagnosing cancer, neurological injuries, vascular surgery, orthopaedics and gynaecology.
In addition, she handles cases concerning stillbirth, neonatal death and meningitis.
Sarah also advises on medical cases involving psychiatric harm, secondary victims and human rights. She represents families at Inquests in the Coroners Court.
Alongside her legal caseload, Sarah is a member of the national Human Rights team. She has held a position as a helpline volunteer for the patient safety and justice charity AvMA.
As an expert in her field, she regularly lectures to GPs and clinicians on medical negligence and has published articles, blogs and book reviews in this field.
Sarah was also a Finalist for the Solicitor Of The Year Award at the Manchester Legal Awards 2019.
