Debbie is an Associate Solicitor in Business Services Employment at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Manchester.
She advises on all aspects of UK employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, and has significant experience of successfully managing litigation on behalf of her clients at employment tribunals.
These cases often concern elements of discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract or unfair dismissal.
In addition Debbie supports her clients by providing robust and clear advice on a range of HR related matters, including disciplinary and grievance proceedings, individual and collective redundancy exercises and issues surrounding poor performance, absence management and the Equality Act 2010.
Debbie also assists employers in negotiating and drafting contracts of employment, handbook policy documents and settlement agreements.
On top of this, Debbie is able to provide clients with bespoke training on HR matters such as handling disciplinary and grievance proceedings.
