Darren Cook Litigation Executive, Criminal Defence
Darren is a Litigation Executive, a Criminal Defence Lawyer and a Police Station Accredited Representative at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Leeds.
He is predominantly instructed by the Police Federation of England & Wales to represent Police Officers in both Criminal & Misconduct and Disciplinary proceedings.
Darren is experienced in defending Police Officers in proceedings brought under the Police Conduct Regulations. In addition, Darren has assisted in the case preparation of a wide range of serious criminal defence investigations, including Misconduct in a Public Office, serious sexual offences and fatal road traffic accident collisions.
Darren’s career in law began in 1996 in a private practice in Doncaster before joining its legal department as a legal clerk in 1998. In 2004 Darren worked as a freelance Police Station Advisor before joining the Wakefield Criminal Defence team in April 2009.
Darren qualified as a Police Station Representative in February 2001.
