Rachel Furniss Paralegal

Experience Profile

Rachel is a paralegal in the family department in the Milton Keynes office. She regularly advises clients on a variety of family issues including separation, children matters, police pensions and finances in general. She deals with all of the fixed fee divorces in the Milton Keynes office and works closely with all of the solicitors in this office.

As a member of resolution Rachel deals with cases in a constructive and effective manner. Rachel is keen to resolve matters as amicably and as swiftly as possible for clients and aims to carefully consider each case and the client’s specific needs. Rachel has previously obtained a first class honours degree in Psychology from the University of Nottingham and is therefore especially appreciative of the emotional effects that divorce can have. Rachel is passionate that her clients receive both emotional as well as legal support throughout their case.

Rachel is currently undertaking her Graduate Law Diploma through the College of Law and has recently passed her first year. Rachel is due to complete her degree next June. Rachel is also responsible for setting up and running the young professionals networking group within the Milton Keynes area. Rachel felt there was a need for such a group within Milton Keynes and has therefore successfully organised a number of meeting which has received a great response.

In her spare time Rachel enjoys horse riding, when she is not studying and has her own horse called Rishka.
