Clare is an Employment Solicitor at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Manchester city centre.
Clare advises a range of clients in both contentious and non-contentious matters including unfair dismissal, redundancy and discrimination.
She has particular experience of disability discrimination and the negotiation of severance packages. Clare has experience of advising both employers and employees of their employment rights, having trained and worked within a corporate environment before joining Slater and Gordon Lawyers. Clare uses her prior experience in dealing with employers to provide pragmatic solutions for individuals.
Clare acts for private individuals, trade union members and members of the Police Federation of England and Wales.
During her career Clare has delivered presentations and training on employment law issues to a variety of audiences.
Clare trained at Eversheds LLP and qualified in 2009, when she moved to work at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP. Clare joined Slater and Gordon Lawyers in October 2013.
Clare completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Manchester before completing a postgraduate degree in Law at Queens’ University Belfast. Clare finished her legal studies at the College of Law in Chester, where she obtained a distinction in the Legal Practice Course.
Clare is a member of the Employment Lawyers’ Association and the Industrial Law Society.
Clare has published a variety of articles in a variety of Employment Law publications.
