Man struck down at pedestrian crossing awarded compensation

A man hit by a vehicle at a pedestrian crossing received £650,000 in compensation when he was unable to return to his work as a skilled tradesman.

What happened:  Our client was struck by a vehicle while walking across a pedestrian crossing and received £650,000 in compensation.

Impact: He suffered fractures to his leg and shoulder as well as injuries to his knees, causing pain and instability. He was a skilled tradesman and couldn’t return to the level of physical work involved. He suffered post-traumatic stress disorder, for which he required counselling.
