Two holidaymakers received four-figure settlements when their taxi was involved in a road traffic accident in Berlin.

Slater and Gordon Solicitor: Sundeesh Nandra is a personal injury litigation executive specialising in travel litigation at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in London.

Settlement: £2,500 each.

What Happened: Our two clients were travelling in the back of a taxi in Berlin in the evening when another vehicle collided with them at a crossroad.

Impact: One of our clients sustained a blow to her face when she hit the back of the driver’s head rest. She also suffered from shock and lower back pains. Her partner suffered from whiplash injuries as well as headaches and severe back pain.

How Slater and Gordon Helped: We liaised with the insurers of the German driver on behalf of our clients. We then obtained medical evidence in relation to our clients’ injuries and put forward offers to settle their claims which were accepted.

Decision: £2,500 settlement for each client.
