Settlement: First Claimant, £20,000. Second Claimant, £3,500

What Happened: Our clients had travelled to Germany to watch a football match when the coach they were stopped outside their hotel. They began to offload their luggage when they were knocked down by the third party vehicle. Both clients were thrown into the air and landed in the middle of the road.

Impact: The first claimant suffered numerous physical injuries including broken ribs and moderate brain damage which affects his memory. Fortunately this has not had a restrictive effect on his life. The second claimant suffered numerous soft tissue injuries.

How Slater and Gordon Helped: The defendants denied liability throughout, but we eventually managed to secure settlement for both claimants.

Decision: The parties settled the matter without the need to attend trial. Both were very pleased with the outcome.
