Slater and Gordon Lawyer: Simon Weilding is a Travel Lawyer at Slater and Gordon in Manchester.
What Happened: Our client and her husband were on a cruise holiday which called at Pattaya in Thailand. A shuttle bus had been organised by the cruise line to take holidaymakers to a beach resort. On the way back to the ship the bus was involved in a road traffic accident that resulted in a multiple vehicle pile-up.
Impact: Our client suffered soft tissue damage to her neck. We also represented our client’s husband who was injured in the accident.
How Slater and Gordon Helped: We successfully brought a claim against the Cruise Line / Tour Operator.
Decision: The cruise line admitted liability and the case settled for £25,000 just over three years after the accident.
