Personal Injury Lawyer Amy Bond successfully concludes a Pressure Sores Medical Negligence Claim

21 June 2012

A wife and mother of two was admitted to hospital and during her admission, she was inadequately cared for. Our client suffered with malnutrition and developed Grade 4 pressure sores to her sacrum and heels. She sadly developed sepsis as a result of her pressure sores, which sadly resulted in her early death.

A nursing expert was highly critical of failures to take adequate measures to prevent the development of Pressure Sores, which would have resulted in saving her life.

The Trust admitted full responsibility for their Negligence. After a letter of claim was sent, Medical Negligence specialist Amy Bond negotiated a settlement of £23,000 to be paid to our client.
