Motorcycle Accident Claim successfully settles for GBP60,211.75

01 May 2012

Our client was on police motorcycle duty. He lost control of his motorcycle when he braked but unbeknown to him a sheet of plastic, which had fallen off a van, was on the road surface, this resulted in our client to fall off his motorcycle onto the road. A Road Traffic Accident Claim was submitted and accepted by the Motor Insurers' Bureau under the terms of their Untraced Driver Scheme. Our client’s left elbow was shattered and required elbow reconstruction which entailed a new elbow joint, radial head replacement and plate being inserted from elbow to wrist. A Slater and Gordon Legal Executive successfully concluded this case and obtained GBP60,211.75 in compensation for our client.
