Cyclist Awarded £3,000 Compensation in Pothole Accident Injury Claim
22 November 2011
Our Personal Injury Solicitors represented a cyclist who was on her way home when she hit a pothole with her front tyre, causing her to crash into a metal barrier at the side of the road.
The cycling accident caused damage to her bike and bruising to the left upper arm and left thigh as well as a break in her right thumb.
After the accident she did not go to A&E but instead visited her GP at a later date who subsequently sent her to St George's Hospital due to the pain she was suffering with her injuries.
Diagnosing a break to the right thumb, our client decided to pursue an injury claim which resulted in her receiving £3,000 compensation.
