Alan Greenidge successfully defended a GMP police officer over an off duty assault allegation

Alan Greenidge, a Litigation Executive in the Manchester Criminal & Misconduct department

successfully defended a GMP police officer at the magistrates court  in respect of an off duty assault. It was alleged that the police officer had assaulted a passer by outside the officer's home address by pushing him when asked to move his car. This alleged assault was witnessed by an independent witness. The officer was found not guilty.
