Further Operation Required due to Errors by Medical Staff

15 April 2011

A woman suffered serious bleeding whilst giving birth which meant that the doctors had to use some material to stem the blood flow.  After the procedure some of the material was left in situ and not discovered until some months later.  It was claimed that leaving the swab in situ was a breach of duty and therefore a clinical negligence claim was made.

With help from our expert clinical negligence solicitors a settlement of £4,000 was agreed to compensate our client.
