Clients pension rights protected after acquisition

We represented our client in a complex High Court case regarding their
pension rights following the acquisition of our clients employer by a multi national company. The company refused to uphold the provisions of our client's previous employer's pensions terms in relation to augmentation, in circumstances where he was retired early by reason of redundancy.
We succeeded in protecting our client's pension rights through complex contract law arguments as TUPE had no application.
