£100,000 Compensation After Man Forced to Retire Due to Injuries

19 February 2011

A man suffered an accident when he slipped on spilt water and injured his back.  His company admitted liability but our client stayed in employment until he was made redundant.  Following his redundancy our client did not manage to obtain another job.  It was our argument that this was due to the recurring injuries and pain that he still suffered from as a result of his accident at work.

The client had previously admitted liability so the main challenge was to calculate how much compensation the man should receive.  Our expert accident at work solicitors eventually agreed for a payment of £100,000 to be made to our client.
