Supermarket Worker Injured by Broken Shelf

21 December 2010

Our client worked for a large supermarket chain and was responsible for collecting newly delivered bread and stacking it onto shelves.  Approximately three weeks prior to the accident one of the display shelves had been reported as faulty and had been repaired.  As our client made his way to collect fresh bread the display shelf broke, fell and hit our client on his arm.  This accident at work meant that he injured his elbow.  The injury is expected to have fully recovered within six months.

After negotiations between the defendant and our expert accident at work solicitors compensation of over £2,000 was recovered for our client.
