Supermarket Slip Secures Compensation for Injured Man
08 December 2010
A man slipped over as he was leaving his local supermarket. As he was exiting the store both of his feet skidded on the ice which was around the doorway. He suffered a fractured ankle and leg because of this pavement defect, which required surgery to repair. Another customer of the shop had fallen in the same place a mere 5 minutes earlier. After a admission of liability had been made it was agreed between the defendant and our expert accident in a public place solicitors that compensation of £3,000 would be paid to our client.
