Faulty Wheel on Truck Causes Accident at Work
20 December 2010
A building site worker was required to drive a fork lift truck as part of his job. It had not been fitted with a seat belt, and due to a faulty tyre it vibrated a lot whilst being driven. The vibration caused the battery cable of the truck to come loose causing an immediate power cut and stopping the vehicle. Our client was thrown from the cabin and injured his foot. The injury from this accident at work took ten months to heal. With help from our expert accident at work solicitors liability was admitted and an offer of £2,000 was accepted by our client.
