Advised two social workers refused renewal of their registrations

12 November 2010

Our Professional Discipline & Regulation team advised two social workers who had been refused renewal of their registrations by their regulatory body, the General Social Care Council. This meant that they were barred from continuing their long careers in social work.  Our team advised the clients on the appropriate route to appeal the decision and their potential grounds for overturning the decision. We prepared and lodged the clients’ appeals at the First Tier Tribunal.
