GP Negligence Claim After Fracture Misdiagnosis

09 October 2010

A man was riding his bike when he crashed, falling and injuring both his arms.  After the cycling accident he was taken to hospital and, although no tests were carried out, was advised that he had sprained his arms. After being discharged from hospital, our client continued to feel pain in his arms and decided to book in a further appointment to have an x-ray.  Results revealed that his left arm was in fact fractured.  A further x-ray showed that the right arm was also fractured. After discovering the true extent of his injuries, our client made a claim for pain and suffering during the undiagnosed period. With help from our expert GP negligence solicitors, our client was awarded £5,000 for the mistakes made.
