£25,000 Compensation for Man Following Cycling Accident

29 September 2010

A man was knocked off his bicycle by a car which pulled out in front of him without checking the road properly.  The defendant did not accept liability initially.  Following a statement from the attending police officer it was discovered that the defendant had made an inaccurate description of the events around the accident. The injuries which our client suffered affected his every day life for a period of approximately 15 months.  The man also lost his willingness to travel by bike, meaning that he had to pay a lot more in travel costs. With help from our expert cycling accident solicitors our client was awarded over £25,000, which included a significant allowance for extra travel expenditure.
