£22,000 Compensation for Client Who Injured Foot At Work
23 August 2010
Our client was a nurse, preparing to distribute medication during her night shift in the hospital ward. She was the only qualified member of staff on duty. Whilst working with the medicine trolley, a drawer fell out and landed on her foot causing injury. Our client suffered a fracture of her right foot. She had 3 periods of absence from work on account of 3 episodes of surgery. With help from our expert health and safety solicitors, our client was awarded £22,000 which took into account the future cost of adapted footwear.
