RJW solicitors' settle accident at work case for £21,000

17 May 2010

At an accident at work, our client was holding an Allen key in his right hand to remove the steel plate from an EVG Polybend Machine. The key slipped from the plate and sadly cut our client’s right eye causing him to stagger backwards into a bench behind him.

Our client sustained a soft tissue injury to the lower back. Our accident at work solicitors highlighted the fact that the work equipment that was used by our client on the day of the accident was in fact unsuitable and inadequate.  Due to the back problem, our client had to retire on grounds of ill health where he experienced loss of earnings. Taking this into account RJW solicitors settled this case for £21,000.
