Cyclist Receives £110,000 Compensation Following Accident

17 May 2010

In a cycling accident claim, a man was knocked from his bike when cycling home from work and sustained a fractured knee cap on one side and ligament damage to the other knee. Sadly as a result of his stay in hospital he developed MRSA.

Following surgery he was able to return to work and worked up until normal retirement. However he was not able to stay beyond 30 years of service, as he had planned to do, due to the ongoing symptoms caused by the accident and the surgery.

Our cycling accident solicitors handled this case and settled it for £110,000. The settlement value reflected the severity of our client injuries and the impact this had on his future.
