Breach of contract claim following termination of employment

We advised a female senior executive whose employment was terminated. Along with a number of other claims, she had a claim for breach of contract. This was in respect to her employer failing to first, provide a payment in lieu of notice for the 8 month notice period due under her contract of employment and second, breaching her contractual right to an enhanced redundancy package. She was pleased with the advice we gave her in respect of the next steps and course of action we should take against her employer. As a direct result to the action we took on behalf of our client, the Employer proposed a settlement package which our client was pleased to accept and she moved on to pastures new.
