Successful representation at SDT regarding solicitor's ability to practice

19 March 2010

Our team represented a solicitor in the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal who was alleged to have acted in conveyancing matters which exhibited the characteristics of fraudulent transactions. These were allegations which would ordinarily have resulted in restrictions upon a solicitor’s ability to practice.  Instead, following our successful representations and the careful presentation of mitigation, the SDT ordered that our client pay a fine.
