Cyclist awarded £59,715 after being hit by an untraced driver

16 September 2009

We have good experience in negotiating high settlement values for clients with cycling injury claims. In one case an off duty Police Officer was cycling on a main road when suddenly a vehicle struck him from behind causing him serious knee injuries after he fell heavily. The Motor Insurers Bureau accepted that the untraced driver was 100% at fault and the cyclist was awarded £59, 715 which represented the severity of our client’s injuries.
