Wet floor causes woman to sustain injuries

20 May 2009

In another public liability accident, our claimant was on her way to work. As she exited the bus station via the central subway, she slipped on the wet floor causing a fall to the ground. As she fell she sustained injuries to her right knee and her shoulder. At the time of the accident, it was raining and due to the heavy wind the rain had blown in through the open entrance, causing a wet floor. In addition to this, the ceiling of the subway was prone to leaks, another factor that contributed to the public liability case. RJW solicitors settled this claim for a value in between £2100 - £2250, allowing our client to cover substantial damages.
