Georgina Chase Principal Lawyer, Family Law
Georgina is a principal lawyer in the Manchester Family Department.
Her practice encompasses all aspects of family law arising from marriage and relationship breakdown, including divorce, separation, ancillary relief, cohabitation, pre & post nuptial agreements, civil partnership disputes, child maintenance and Children Act Proceedings.
Georgina is experienced in representing all ranks of officers from PC’s to Chief Constables involved in all family law disputes, particularly because of her knowledge of police pensions, shift patterns and the current changes to police pay. Her particular area of expertise and interest lies with all matters concerning Divorce and reaching a Financial Settlement upon Divorce.
Georgina is known for her personal and friendly approach towards clients and her attention to detail.
Georgina joined Russell Jones & Walker, now Slater and Gordon Lawyers, from the Family Team at JMW Solicitors in Manchester.
Georgina graduated from The University of Manchester with Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in 2005 and completed her Legal Practice Course at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006.
Georgina is a member of Resolution, a national organisation of family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems. Georgina is also on the Young Resolution Committee.
