Daniel Nicholas Chartered Legal Executive, Industrial Disease
Daniel is a chartered legal executive within the industrial disease team at Slater and Gordon Lawyers in Manchester.
He specialises in chest and asbestos disease compensation claims. He provides support in relation to all aspects of asbestos and respiratory disease litigation. Daniel has been involved in various complex cases involving asbestos exposure.
Examples of some asbestos cases which he has worked on include shipping claims, claims for ex-pats living in Australia and Canada, Maltese dockworkers, environmental exposures and cases of exposure within schools.
Daniel attends Court and Inquest hearings, representing those suffering from asbestos diseases and their families. He conducts legal and historical research and specialises in the tracing and restoration of dissolved companies.
Daniel joined John Pickering and Partners in 2011, and Slater and Gordon in 2013. He worked in Resource Management in Her Majesty’s Court and Tribunal Service before entering private practice in 2011.
Daniel was winner of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives Student of the Year Award 2013.
He graduated from The University of Liverpool with BA (Hons) in History & Psychology. Between 2008-2013 Daniel studied to become a member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX). Daniel is now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEX) and a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
