Get to know Stephen

I studied Law at Glasgow Caledonian University graduating in 2022, and subsequently completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde in 2024.

I qualified as a solicitor in March 2026 following my traineeship and preceding 2 year role as a paralegal, both of which focussed mainly on Private Client matters.

I have years of experience in working directly with individuals and families to achieve the best results possible, and have developed a notable ability to deal with clients who find themselves in the most difficult parts of their lives. I approach each client as their own individual, offering respect, time and understanding.

I joined the Clinical Negligence team at Slater and Gordon in 2026. I am passionate about providing relevant, compassionate and clear advice, and understand the importance of clients feeling heard, understood and supported throughout the claims process.

Career highlights

I continue to achieve great results for my clients, no matter how big or small. As a newly qualified solicitor, I am driven to continue to excel within my role and progress within the firm.
