Get to know Paul

I am a chartered legal executive at Slater and Gordon, specialising in complex serious injury cases arising from road traffic accidents. I joined Slater and Gordon in 2019, but have specialised in personal injury cases since 2012.

I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in serious injury cases however, I consider the most important aspect of any case is the client and their recovery, and therefore, I strive to ensure that every client's need for support is met. My expertise has helped many client’s secure the compensation and rehabilitation required to enable them to move beyond their life changing injuries.

Career highlights

I have worked on a significant number of cases and my caseload comprises of complex and high value personal injury litigation. Some cases that particularly stand out include:

• Acting on behalf of a self employed client with a subtle brain injury, having a catastrophic impact on his business and requiring complex accountancy evidence;
• Acting for a client, a high level director, who suffered a significant injury to the long thoracic nerve resulting in long term significant limitations;
• Working as part of the team representing a quadriplegic with a catastrophic brain injury awarded $12 million AUD.

However, the most rewarding part of every case is knowing that I have genuinely helped change someone’s life for the better.

The extra mile

I am currently the chair of the Liverpool branch of Chartered Legal Executives and vice-chair of the Merseyside Independent Custody Visitors scheme. I feel it is important to give back to my profession but also to the community as a whole.
