Clients often tell me they are not pursuing a claim for the money, but to ensure that no other person has to go through what they did. I share this goal; I do what I do to ensure people are held accountable for their negligent mistakes so that lessons are learned and mistakes are not repeated.
Get to know Manpreet
I’m an associate solicitor with over five years’ experience of acting solely for claimants pursuing clinical negligence claims.
I commenced my legal career with Slater and Gordon in 2012. I secured my training contract less than 12 months later and completed seats in clinical negligence, media libel and privacy and business services. I qualified in April 2016 and became an associate in 2019.
I have a varied caseload encompassing a range of complex claims including orthopaedic claims, delayed diagnoses of cancer, renal and urological medicine, surgical negligence, amputation and fatal cases. I have also assisted on catastrophic birth injury cases.
It is a privilege to be able to support each of my clients through the claims process. I am committed to securing compensation (including early interim payments where possible) for my clients, thereby providing them with a positive outcome where their lives have been devastated by injury.
I have settled cases for a number of claimants whose lives have been severely impacted as a result of medical negligence including a £75,000 award for a psychiatric injury suffered by mum as a result of stillbirth, £275,000 for injury suffered by a claimant as a result of incorrect staging of cancer, £300,000 for negligent hip replacement surgery and £1,000,000.00 for an amputee who suffered a negligently performed total knee replacement. I have also obtained settlements for a number of claimants pursuing product liability claims (totalling £164,500) and I have secured early admissions on various cases, including a full liability admission concerning negligent hernia repair surgery which settled for £550,000.
I was part of the Slater and Gordon team that was shortlisted for ‘Litigation Team of the Year’ for The Lawyer Awards in 2015 for our work on Rowland v Mitchell (‘Plebgate’ case).

I was very impressed with Slater and Gordon and in particular, Manpreet Singh for how they handled my case. Manpreet acted very professionally throughout the process and due to this professionalism and determination, she was able to successfully secure me the compensation that I was looking for.
