Experience Profile

Jacqueline is a national practice group leader and head of Group Litigation for Slater and Gordon Lawyers in London.

She leads the teams who support individuals bringing financial recovery cases though the cost effective route of group legal actions against those who have caused their loss.

Jacqueline qualified as a solicitor in 1996.

She initially undertook commercial litigation work but later focused on media cases including libel, data protection and privacy law litigation, before moving to the highly specialist field of group litigation.

She has been involved in a wide range of group litigation cases and representative actions.

She has recently successfully concluded a four year long professional negligence claim on behalf of hundreds of clients.

Jacqueline has been heavily involved in the interest rate hedging products (“swaps”) litigation and successfully acted for numerous small and medium businesses against the main UK banking institutions.

She regularly acts for groups of investors disadvantaged by negligent financial advice across a wide range of products, investment funds and schemes including through SIPPS and other pension options.

Although personally specialising in financial investment cases, as head of the group Jacqueline also supervises all Slater and Gordon’s current collective actions including those with international dimensions concerning pharmaceutical and other products liability claims.

She will be focusing on the new class action options in respect of unfair competition within the UK EU and globally.

With almost two decades experience, Jacqueline is a highly respected and talented lawyer.
