Gurjit Singh Trainee Solicitor, Property

Experience Profile

Gurjit is a trainee solicitor in the Property team, having joined Slater and Gordon in August 2015.

His previous seats have given him exposure to both commercial and residential transactional property matters, while his current seat exposes him to a vast array of commercial litigation matters.

During his time in commercial property, Gurjit oversaw the day-to-day conduct of both commercial and residential transactions, which included businesses and high net worth individuals.

Prior to joining the firm, Gurjit completed the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law. He obtained his degree in Law with Criminology from Nottingham Trent University. During his time at university, Gurjit held an array of different leadership positions within a variety of societies; including the university’s rugby and cricket teams. He is still involved in sport and plays rugby for a local club, while he plays cricket for a local all-lawyers team in the Chester & District Mid-Week Cricket League.

He is actively involved in voluntary and charity initiatives outside of the firm with Sandwell General Hospital, the “Movember” charity and Diabetes UK respectively. He considers his greatest achievement to be his climbing the Himalayas in 2006 following his diagnosis of type 1 diabetes in the same year.
