Senior Associate Solicitor
In family law, we often see people at some of the most vulnerable times in their lives. I consider it very important to be trusted by my clients and for us to work together as a team.
Get to know Emma
I began my career as a trainee solicitor in 2011 at a boutique firm in North London. Following qualification, I moved to a firm in the City where I gained extensive experience in handling divorce and financial remedy matters for high net worth individuals.
The financial cases I have worked on throughout my career often involve the division of business assets, cross jurisdictional matters and family trusts.
Before moving into family law, I worked for an international finance company. It was the experience I gained during this time which I believe helps me assess not only the short term, but also the long term implications of the division of matrimonial assets.
I have a wealth of experience in dealing with matters relating to children and child contact. A significant number of the cases I have dealt with have been complex matters involving substance abuse and parental alienation.
There is not one single case that I would say stands out as a ‘career’ highlight for me. I always want to ensure that I secure the right outcome for my client and any children involved. During my career, I have worked on some high profile cases, including acting for the former partner of a premiership footballer in financial claims relating to their child.
