Get to know Ayesha
I am a Solicitor working in the Clinical Negligence team at Slater and Gordon. I am based in the Brighton and London offices.
I studied Law at the University of Surrey and subsequently completed my LPC LLM at the University of Law. I began my career in the legal sector in 2019 and qualified as a Solicitor in 2024. I joined Slater and Gordon in July 2025 and have been involved in a wide range of medical negligence cases, including surgical errors, delay in diagnosis, misdiagnosis, amputations and brain injury.

I understand that experiencing an injury can have a significant impact on individuals and their families. I am passionate about providing clear and compassionate advice to clients and guiding them through complex legal matters with care and understanding. Achieving successful outcomes for clients and their families is one of the most rewarding aspects of my work, as it enables them to rebuild their lives and move forward after a challenging period.
I am currently involved in a number of claims against:
- County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust in relation to the Breast Cancer Service Scandal.
- Spire Healthcare and South Tyneside & Sunderland NHS Foundation Trust in relation to the investigation into the conduct of a senior orthopaedic surgeon, Mr Leslie Irwin.
- University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust in relation to the criminal investigation, Operation Bramber, into the general surgery and neurosurgery departments.
