I am an associate at Slater & Gordon lawyers with over 20 years’ experience of dealing with claims that have an international element to them.
I was always kept in the loop and well informed on the steps being taken on my behalf. A special mention to Andrew Tarling, always contactable and very informative. Couldn’t have asked for a better case manager!

Get to know Andrew
I began my career working in-house for the major tour operator, Thomas Cook Tour Operations Limited in 2001. In 2009 I began representing clients that have been injured abroad, and have done so ever since. I am proud to have secured damages for hundreds of clients during this period, some of which have suffered life changing injuries.
I joined Slater & Gordon 2022 and I am based at the Manchester office.
I specialise in bringing claims that have an international element to them. I often represent clients that have been injured overseas in hotels and at waterparks. I also represent clients that have been injured onboard aircraft and on cruise ships and clients that have been involved in road traffic accidents abroad.
Career highlights
Over the years I have been involved with some very high profile cases, including:
Various multi-party class actions brought against tour operators in relation to hotel hygiene issues
A claim relating to an accident that took place during a safari trip in South Africa
A well-publicised waterside accident claim resulting in life changing injuries to a client when his leg was broken in 6 places
I have had multiple cases reported in both local and national media and have contributed content to the TV Show “Holidays Hit Squad”.
Recognition
I am a Chartered Legal Executive and an Associate of Slater & Gordon. In 2024 I was named as a “Key Lawyer” in The Legal 500.
The extra mile
I am a keen supporter of the men’s suicide prevention charity “Andy's Man Club”. A charity that offers peer-to-peer support groups across the UK and online. In 2022 I walked from Old Trafford football ground in Manchester to Elland Road football ground in Leeds to raise funds and awareness for the charity.
