Personal injury compensation could be sought by a family on behalf of a man who passed away during a fatal accident at work.
Keith Wannan was operating for farming group GJ Orr at premises in Scotland in September 2009 when he got crushed in between two rollers on a potato harvester as he attempted to replace the rubber sleeves on the equipment.
Mr Wannan was instructed by his boss to conduct this work, but was left alone to complete the task after the machine had been switched on to check it was functioning properly.
An investigation conducted by the Health and Safety Executive established that he was found seriously hurt some 90 minutes later and, despite being airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, the 34-year-old passed away later that day.
This comes after Martyn Massie died at the age of 23 during an accident at work at Pitmachie Garage in Aberdeenshire in June 2010 after suffering a severe head injury.
