NHS complaint made by after grandmother's death
A woman has complained about the treatment her mother received at an NHS hospital.
Julie Farmer said she would not have left her dogs in the conditions 85-year-old grandmother Betty West had to cope with at Bradford Royal Infirmary after breaking her hip in a fall last year.
Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, she said: "It's not going to bring her back but if it stops other things happening to others, it will have done some good."
A hospital spokesman said a full investigation into the case would be carried out as a result of the NHS complaint made by Ms Farmer.
The facility was described as a "hellhole" by Ms Farmer, who said she would have had her mother moved if she knew how.
Bradford Royal Infirmary is run by the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is located on Duckworth Lane in the West Yorkshire city.
