In recent times, the government has unveiled plans that would see the UK's employment law amended to include more flexible provisions, including altering the current parental leave rules.
And according to Peter Thomson, director of research at the Telework Association, bosses should take it upon themselves to adopt this approach as they will benefit from staff feeling less stressed.
Meanwhile, employees themselves will also notice the difference in terms of the money they earn, as there is "clear benefit to individuals" of not having to commute to their workplace on a daily basis.
