A high profile divorce between the Earl of Stockton and his wife is set to be finalised in the near future, it has emerged.
The 67-year-old publishing heir has told the Daily Mail that the couple, who married in 1995, are nearing the conclusion of their formal separation after a significant period away from each other.
"Our divorce is a matter of public record. It will be finalised later this month. We have been living apart for quite some time," he revealed.
The Earl - grandson of former Conservative prime minister Harold McMillan, from whom he inherited his title - is estimated to be worth in the region of £160 million and recently failed in an attempt to become a member of the House of Lords, the news source added.
This comes after the Independent reported that the divorce between property development expert Scott Young and ex-wife Michelle had been delayed by the High Court after the institution ordered a "cooling off" period in proceedings.
