The family of a woman who died while travelling on a National Express bus are claiming compensation for the fatal accident.
According to the Birmingham Evening Mail, Julie Layton was fatally injured when she fell over and hit her head on a coin machine while travelling in the Yardley Wood area of Birmingham last month.
The 37-year-old mother-of-three suffered severe back injuries in the bus accident and died in hospital three weeks later after never fully recovering from the trauma of the accident.
Members of her family contacted specialist fatal accident Solicitors at Slater and Gordon Lawyers to represent them in their compensation claim against National Express.
Slater and Gordon Personal Injury Solicitor Adam Wilson said, "We are currently working closely with the police and will release more information about the case after we have more results from of our ongoing investigations."
