A group of comedians, scientists and writers are set to take to the stage next month in a bid to raise money.
The Big Libel Gig will take place on Sunday March 14th at the Palace Theatre in London and it is being organised by the Libel Reform Campaign.
According to the group, a number of changes should be made to current UK laws. For example, the definition of fair comment needs to be expanded.
Organisers of the gig suggest it will include "big names in UK comedy, science and human rights".
Among those set to take part are Dara O'Briain, Tim Minchin, Marcus Brigstocke, Robin Ince and Ed Byrne.
Also Professor Brian Cox, Simon Singh, Professor Richard Wiseman and Dr Peter Wilmshurst will feature in the event, which was the brainchild of Robin Ince.
Money raised during the evening, which will kick off at 19:30 GMT, will go towards the Coalition for Libel Reform.
