Singer and reality television star Peter Andre is seeking damages over alleged libel.
The entertainer, whose marriage to model Katie Price ended earlier this year, is taking legal action against IPC Media.
He is seeking a payout of more than £300,000 from the consumer magazine publisher.
The case centres on an article which appeared in Now magazine entitled: "Jordan explodes: 'Tell the Truth Peter!'."
As well as appearing in the publication, the story was made available online.
In addition to the compensation, Andre is seeking an injunction banning repetition of the content of the article.
The case against IPC Media remains ongoing.
Responsible for the publication of 80 titles, including Marie Claire, Woman, What's on TV, In Style, Country Life and Woman & Home, the media firm claims that almost two-thirds of women and over 44 per cent of men in the UK have read a magazine it has produced.
