Road accident victim seeks compensation for head and spinal injuries
A man who suffered head and spinal injuries in a crash, as well as damage to his arms and legs, is seeking a payout of more than £300,000.
In June 2006, David Frost was driving in the West Sussex borough of Crawley - which has a population of just under 100,000 - when he was involved in a collision with another car.
The driver of the vehicle that struck him was Scott Warren, Get Surrey reports.
After the crash, Mr Warren was convicted of drink driving and was handed a four-month driving ban.
In a high court writ, Mr Frost claims his life has been changed as a result of the road accident and he is still not fit for work.
He suffered damage to his head and fractures to four of his vertebrae, his right hand and to both his thighs.
Since the incident, he has had to have extensive surgery, including procedures to insert pins and plates to treat his fractures.
