A radio presenter is taking his former employers to tribunal after losing his job earlier this year.
According to reports in the Scottish Daily Record, Jack Bennie is claiming he was the victim of age discrimination and unfair dismissal.
The 61-year-old used to present a daytime show six days a week on West Sound before being replaced by a younger man.
Mr Bennie said: "I was told I was not required back and my show was taken over by someone who was significantly younger than me.
"Maybe they thought I was a bit too old for radio."
He added that there was "no reason" to sack him as he had never been disciplined or turned up late.
Mr Bennie also claims that the dismissal process was unfair as there was no disciplinary, consultation or redundancy procedure used.
West Sound currently employs a number of presenters, including Jim Symon and Gary Marshall.
